  The owner Neil is very friendly and helpful , I have been staying here throughout the last 4 years and can honestly say I love my time here , the rooms are comfortable with reverse cycle air conditioning , coffee making facilities, toaster and microwave and also the beds have electric blankets for the winter season and their are chairs outside all rooms for people who want to smoke or just want to have a friendly chat , I must also mention the great security on the premises I always feel safe here .

  We stayed at the Mandalay motel recently for one night & found it to be disgusting. On arrival we were asked to pay cash because the eftpos machine was not working but as we had no cash it was discovered that the eftpos machine was working. Entering the room it smelt stale the carpet was dirty there were cobwebs with insects in them on the curtain at both ends. The carpet was very stained. There was a microwave & toaster with cutlery to use but unfortunately there was not any bowls or plates to use. When we went to use the fridge we found that there was frozen food in the freezer section that had been left by someone. The bed was so sagged that we had to roll a towel up to put down the middle to stop us both rolling into the middle. The shower rose was loose on the wall & we thought it may fall at any minute. Overall it was a very below standard room we give this room a rating of one.
