The rooms and the building are inviting and beautifully presented for the available space. The hosts are wonderfully friendly, considerate, helpful and make you feel like a special guest.

June 2017 - has recently been taken over by new owners one of which is a chef. Food at the restaurant Amazing! Room very neat tidy and cosy with everything you could ask for. Lovely historic building!

Wonderful place to stay - quiet and comfortable and excellent meals. Just perfect hence the 5 star rating!!

Accommodation was clean and comfortable and quiet. The place was originally built as a hospital around 100 years ago so the rooms are ex staff living quarters and the bathrooms are shared facilities. The restaurant and kitchen and other buildings were wards and operating theaters and hospital facilities. On a hill overlooking the town.
